How are the African-American students treated? Do you think
this is fair?
They dont have the things that the white kids had before, and if they did they were in bad condition. This is not fair because we should all be treated equally.
What happened to the Berry family? What does this event tell
you about racism in the South in the 1930s?
They were burned by white men. It tells me that they showed no mercy toward us african-americans and no respect. They didnt care about anyone but themselves.

I would like to be friends with the Logan children because they seem like very respectful children.
Why has Mr. Morrison come to live with the Logans?
To be proctected from the men.

Getting a good education.
What might it feel like to be the victim of hatred?
It might feel bad because you would probably never hate someone like they hated you and you might feel hurt.
